Fun with Grandma and Aunt Dana

What a surprise!! Grandma and Aunt Dana came to take care of Nadia for a few days last week. She loved making them run around the kitchen island and getting dirty!!

We went to Kathy's house today to celebrate Easter. Kathy had eggs hidden around her house and Nadia loved finding them!

We went for a walk around the lake...it was finally nice out!

Nadia didn't quite make it through church...she lasted about 15 minutes before the tantrums started so we spent Easter service in the van waiting for Dad...

It just took Grandma and Aunt Dana to get me excited about potty training!

Now they just can't go home!!

Wisconsin Dells

We just got back from a fun weekend at the Dells! This was our first trip out to the water parks and it was so much fun! Nadia came down with another cold on Thursday night but she was a trooper and still enjoyed playing in the water and going down the slides. We went with 6 other families and shared a cabin with Lisa and Nora and The Johnson's...8 girls were all under one roof!

Nadia had a blast. She loved playing with Nora, Kendall, Ava and Claudia. Kendall loved Darren and was by his side most of the weekend...

This and That

Potty training...UGH! I've learned that this is a true test of patience. Nadia is just not interested in doing this. I've tried bribing, leaving the diaper off and more bribing. Nothing seems to work.

Nadia decided to try my own tricks on her baby to see if she would go potty in the big girl toilet... Dressing up is way more fun these days...

I like to wear the same things as my friend, Nora...

Darren ran 24 miles today for his marathon training. He was in pain when he got home and went back to the bedroom to stretch and lay down for a few minutes. This is what I found when I went back to check on him...

Zoo Season!

Spring is starting to appear...slowly but surely. We met Hana and the boys and Krista and Logan on Saturday at the MN Zoo. It was one of the first nice days of spring so you can imagine how busy it was!

Logan and Krista had a slumber party at our house on Saturday. The kids had a blast and made it through the day without fighting at all!

We took Nadia to her first Broadway show on Friday night...Madagascar Live! It was downtown Minneapolis at the Orpheum Theater so she got to experience the city life for a night...note to self...2 year olds don't appreciate things like this as much as Moms do.

We made it through the intermission and then left about 30 minutes later. She enjoyed the music and the Lion the most!

Thank God for iphones...
