End of Summer Fun

It seems like fall is already in the air in MN and we are trying to cram in as many summer activities as we possibly can!

We met Lisa, Nora, Hana & the boys and a few other friends at the zoo a few weeks ago. Right as we were stepping out of the van to head in it started down pouring. By the time we made it in, we were all soaking wet but nothing was going to stop us from seeing the animals!

Last weekend was the annual Johnson - Radke Palooza. It's a fun day of BBQ, beer and bonfires! Nadia had a blast playing with Nora, Kendall and all the other kids.

Vacation Part 1!

We are in the middle of our annual ND/SD summer vacation. We started the trip in ND for Darren's all school reunion. I don't think New England has ever had that many people in town at one time!

Nadia was able to meet Salem Sue on a pit stop.

It was a jam packed weekend with street dances, parades, picnics and fireworks. It was fun spending time with everyone!

We had a blast on the farm. Nadia loved riding the 4 wheeler and playing in the wheat fields.

We had such a fun weekend and the weather was perfect in MN!

Nadia and I spent the night at Lisa, Meg and Nora's on Friday night. Dana...check out her shoes...they are her new favorites!

Nadia's buddy, Logan turned 3 this week and we all got to go to the party. Nadia was thrilled to be able to hold baby Emry!I worked late one night and Darren brought Nadia into the room in the morning to drag me out of bed...We went to a colleague's house on Sunday to go swimming. It was HOT and the perfect day to be in a pool!

Summer Time!!

Summer Time!!

We FINALLY have nice weather and we are taking advantage of it as much as possible!!

We met Logan and Krista on Sunday for a day at the beach. They kicked Krista's sister and her friend out of their chairs so they could relax...
Update on potty training...I think Darren and Nadia's face both say it all!!

Memorial Weekend

We had no weddings this year over Memorial and were able to have the infamous party in St Franny. The weekend started with us having an addition to the family. Lisa and Megan were in AZ for a wedding and we kept Nora. The girls had a blast...they had some fights...then a blast...then some fighting...but mostly a blast! We loved having Nora with us!Our party has changed quite a bit since the last time and we opted on a bouncy house instead of a keg. :) I think the adults had just as much fun jumping and going down the slide as the kids!

Krista and Logan came up on Saturday night to play for a bit and Logan decided he really liked Nadia's skirt...why wouldn't he when Nadia and Nora had tutus on the entire weekend??

Dana and Jamie were able to make it and like always, Jamie stole Nadia's heart! Watch out Dana!! Nadia would barely let Jamie out of her sight!We ended the weekend with a bang...4 new additions to the family and a trip to urgent care...
