I can't believe it's come and gone, but Boston 2012 is in the books! I think everyone saw all of my nervous wife facebook posts about how HOT it was race day. I believe about 6000 runners didn't even start the race as the BAA allowed anyone to defer until 2013 due to the high temps.
Well...not my hubby! He ran and most importantly, finished safely! Darren wasn't too excited about his time, but he knew after a few miles that he would have to dial back his speed if he wanted to cross the finish line!

Once the race was over, we were all in vacation mode. It was so much fun to spend time with the Kuhn's/Fields. 5 days were spent in Boston and the rest of the week was in Cape Cod.

Most of you know by now, but for those who haven't heard...we're expecting a baby in early November! We are at week 13 and so far, so good! |
