Fun with the Field's!

We just spent an entire week with my family...Erick and fam and the parents were all here in MN for a little vacation. We packed in as much as we could while everyone was here. Nadia loved playing with her cousin, Mauren and not having to get up for daycare...I believe she was the last one out of bed every morning!

Darrell's 60th!

Happy Birthday to my Father in Law!! He makes turning 60 look good! We were all able to spend the weekend together at a resort in MN to celebrate. It was a perfect place for little kids with tons of activities and a petting zoo!

Sam I Am

It's official! We'll be adding more blue to the house come November. I had my ultrasound last week and everything looks right on track for our baby boy. I took Nadia to the ultrasound with me...she has been certain that we're having a girl and refused to listen to us that it might be a boy. I figured she would take it easier coming from the DR if this was in fact a little brother. I thought she was going to cry when they told us! Thankfully, she's over it now and what was once called 'Sassy' has now been renamed to 'Sam I Am.' :)

A day at the aquarium

We went to Duluth a few weeks ago for a wedding and spent the day at the aquarium. It was such a different experience than Boston's aquarium...way less crowded and more local fresh water fish to learn about.

Dana Kuhn, RN!

Congrats to my sister in law, Dana on graduating and passing her boards!! She is officially a Registered Nurse! We went to Bismarck for her graduation. I didn't get any pics of her in her gown, but we had plenty of fun with family!

Boston!

I can't believe it's come and gone, but Boston 2012 is in the books! I think everyone saw all of my nervous wife facebook posts about how HOT it was race day. I believe about 6000 runners didn't even start the race as the BAA allowed anyone to defer until 2013 due to the high temps.

Well...not my hubby! He ran and most importantly, finished safely! Darren wasn't too excited about his time, but he knew after a few miles that he would have to dial back his speed if he wanted to cross the finish line!

 Once the race was over, we were all in vacation mode. It was so much fun to spend time with the Kuhn's/Fields. 5 days were spent in Boston and the rest of the week was in Cape Cod.

Most of you know by now, but for those who haven't heard...we're expecting a baby in early November! We are at week 13 and so far, so good!

Catch Up

We've had a busy spring so far! Between my work travel schedule, Darren's marathon training and Nadia's gymnastics & swimming lessons...we're starting to see how busy life can be!

My Mom was here for almost 2 weeks helping us with Nadia. They had so much fun playing dolls and having picnics! It was hard for Nadia to say goodbye!

Darren only has a few weeks before the big race. He hurt his back on his last long run and he hasn't been able to run much since. We're hoping that with some rest, he'll be good to go on on April 16th! For those watching on TV...he'll be sporting a white shirt with North Dakota logo on the front. I'm sure he'll be up front with the fast guys so be sure to watch! :)

Logan and Krista came out for my birthday. The kids love getting dressed up in princess/Woody attire!

We also went to the circus last weekend. The kids had a fun time riding elephants and playing with all the fun toys they got!
